Prediction Markets
Prediction Markets
Roobet Casino’s FAQ focuses on how its Prediction Markets work inside an existing account, what happens when you sell before settlement, why a position may still be pending, and how Rewards are treated. The answers below are limited to the available support information for this feature and are aimed at common account and settlement questions rather than broad site policy.
Prediction Markets: Key details
If you use these markets, the practical details matter: one Roobet account is enough, positions can be closed early at the current market price, payout timing depends on the event, and purchases do not add to Roobet Rewards. The four answers below cover those points directly.
Do I need a separate account or wallet?
No. Roobet’s Prediction Markets use your existing Roobet account and the same Roobet balance you use elsewhere on the platform. There is no separate wallet or extra funding step for these markets, because shares are bought and sold directly from that balance. Roobet also notes that the markets are powered by Polymarket, but the account flow stays inside Roobet rather than moving to a separate Polymarket wallet.
Can I exit a position early?
Yes. You can exit a position before the market resolves by selling shares at the current market price. Roobet says you do not need to wait for the final event outcome, and a favourable move in the market can let you lock in profit earlier. To do it, open My Holdings, choose View Details, select Sell for the relevant market, enter the number of shares or a percentage, and confirm. If you sell only part of the holding, the remaining shares stay open.
Why hasn't my position paid out yet?
A position may still be pending because settlement depends on the event and when its outcome can be resolved. Roobet says sports markets usually settle soon after the game ends, while more complex events, including geopolitical situations, can take much longer if the result is not immediately clear. That means a short delay after the event can be normal, and there is no single universal payout deadline given for every market.
Do my purchases count toward Rewards?
No. Money used to buy Prediction Market positions does not count towards Roobet Rewards. Roobet states that spending on shares is excluded from the Rewards programme. The article does not set out any separate Rewards rule for sale proceeds or eventual settlement, so those should not be assumed from this point alone.
